FINANCIAL ACCOUNTINGPrepare, analyze financial reports and statements to shareholders.Prepare monthly client prebills, circulate, revise and finalize to e-billing stage (TABS 3 software).Perform extensive budgeting analysis ad hoc reporting tools.Month-end close duties including bank reconciliations.Monitor office expenses through vendor contract analysis quarterly.Full cycle accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking functions (including IOLTA, ACH, Wires).W2, W3 and 1099 Annual Reporting.Finalize year end close. Work with outside CPA for annual corporate tax filing.Prepare and submit annual business and professional liability insurance renewals.Finalize and file local, state, and federal taxes (monthly/quarterly).HUMAN RESOURCESProcess semi-monthly payroll (QuickBooks) including EFTPS payroll tax payments.Coordinate onboarding new hire attorneys and paralegals.Advertise, recruit and screen potential candidates for open positions.Benefits administration (census, budgeting and renewals).Coordinate company team building events.Schedule staff and attorney meetings on a monthly basis.OPERATIONSEnsure all company assets are functional and repaired as necessary.Maintain IT infrastructure, working with IT consultants on all computer and software upgrades.Ensure any facility issues are addressed quickly.Project managed move to new facility including complete build out of new office interior, furniture and equipment acquisition, and physical move (2 times).
