Darryl Nelson is a Gardner-Webb University alumni who finished up his time in Boiling Springs in 2005. While attending GWU, he met his wife, Amanda as they were both competing for the Track and Field Team. After graduation, Darryl took a job in Anchorage, Alaska where he served for over 14 years as a Student Pastor at Anchorage Baptist Temple. In June of 2005, Darryl and his family moved to Oviedo, FL to serve as the Minister of Students at CrossLife Church under the leadership of Dr. Dwayne Mercer. Darryl and Amanda have three teenage kids and love that they get to call Central Florida home. Darryl is passionate about getting to invest in the Students that God has entrusted to him. It’s his prayer that students would fall in love with Jesus more and more every day and reach their community with the Good News of The Gospel!
