Stabbing Eden is a death metal/grind band from Beachwood NJ, and has penetrated the New Jersey metal scene with full force every show, playing like it is their last time, every time. Their love for music only exceeds their passion for the stories they tell in every song. With song content ranging from getting mean looks from people through the rear mirrors of fellow driver’s cars, to things so many of us think about but never say like killing your girlfriend with a chainsaw, Stabbing Eden will never stop having stories to share with the world around them. They represent themselves through a live performance that will leave you bleeding and out of breath, because when they are on stage, it’s their world being shared with you.With one 12 song album already under their belts, “Chaos Is Cute, Bloodshed Is Sexy” 2009, their most recent 4 song EP in 2011 and a new full length album being released in 2013, they are attacking the rest of the tri-state area with an angry assault of grinding musicianship, crawling their way up the ladder to bigger and better venues. With many vocal ranges, ear busting guitar ballads, and technical but diverse drums that only match their groovy, jazz oriented bass licks, Stabbing Eden opens the door to new sounds that emphasize the gut-boiling story lines that they portray.For the past seven years, Stabbing Eden has had the honor of sharing the stage, all across the country, with some of the most talented acts that have penetrated the music scene including: Dying Fetus, Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza, Chelsea Grin, Ion Dissonance, Whitechapel, Suffocation, Bury Your Dead, NJ Bloodline, Impending Doom, Through The Eyes Of The Dead, Cattle Decapitation, Cannibal Corpse, Misery Index, Cerebral Bore, Malignancy, Rings of Saturn, VOD, The Browning, Beneath the Massacre and Veil Of Maya along hundreds of amazing local bands from all over the country.

In this field, I worked with prospective host home and therapeutic foster home owners who wanted to license their home to provide this service in New Jersey. I took each individual/family through the process of necessary paper work, background checks, medical evaluations, and all other measures necessary to ensure they were legally able to provide care to our children and adults. Through this process I would also provide guidance to these families to prepare them for the inspection of their home by either the licensing bodies of the Division of Developmental Disabilities of NJ or the Department of Human Services of New Jersey through all standards listed in Chapter 128 and Chapter 10:44B for children’s group homes and community care residences.

Responsibilities include the intake of Child Behavioral Health cases by CMO, YCM, Mobile Response and DYFS Agencies for the Somerset, Middlesex, Union, Warren and Hunterdon Counties. When taking in these cases, I would match the proper employee and level of care with the severity of the case due to workers competencies, location and concentration level of their practice. Being the liaison between the company and the families, caseworkers, insurance agencies and field staff, I was in charge of almost all aspects of the Behavioral Health Program including but not limited to:Field staff recruiting, hiring, disciplining, re-education and termination.Payroll for all field staff and taking in all the progress notes, summaries, services plans, discharge plans, no contact forms, release of information forms, Client Family Team Meeting Documentation and all other forms needed. Re-education of the use of documentation forms upon change of policy and procedure and any corrections that would be made to the documents to be 100% compliant with state and federal regulations. Organization of the program in the form of filing, chart thinning, Plan of Care distribution and collection from LCSW and Behavioral Assistants.Informational go-to for any families that would have any questions on the services that were being provided to their children.Also, sustaining important and professional relationships with every case manager to sustain the steady flow of more cases and also provide them with any sort of documentation needed for the continuity of their children’s care. Lastly, making sure every case and session help under field employees of Maxim Health Care Services was covered under the allotted authorization given from either Medicaid, Flex Fund accounts from YCM, CMO, Mobile Response and DYFS agencies or private pay accounts.

• My caseload consisted of providing treatment, in community, with teenagers battling histories of drug addictions, sexual abuse, peer bullying, addictions rehabilitation, impulse control deficits, cognitive functioning issues, complex/abusive family relationships and coping difficulties along with children that held current diagnosis’ of Asperger Syndrome, Drug Induced Psychosis, Pervasive Developmental Disorder and PTSD (victim of sexual abuse). • I met with my individuals weekly and through treatments provided, was able to effectively lower the frequency of their targeted behaviors and better their quality of life. • Treatments were depicted accurately through weekly progress notes which served as a window to consistently portray progress of the individual along with monthly team meetings to summarize progress made towards goals set by participating clinicians, case managers, family members and physicians.

Grades 9-12, Art 1:Administered full responsibility of classroom duties including taking attendance, clean up directions for students and grading all students’ work upon completion. Most students demonstrated full competence of the material taught in my multi disciplinary lessons.Supervised an after school project with Madame Duolong and some of her French class recreating four works by Matisse for the school’s front display. Engaged students in hands-on projects with lessons that followed the NJCCCS, following with high quality end results. Instituted time efficient classroom management for all of my units and lesson plans.Implemented differentiated instruction with attention paid to multicultural and multi disciplinary lessons fostering respect in the classroom
