I am a member of Latham’s Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice Group and advise life sciences companies, investors, and financial institutions on a wide range of transactional matters, including complex business carve out transactions, acquisitions, licensing agreements, research and collaboration agreements, co-promotion and co-commercialization agreements, technology joint venture agreements, clinical trial collaboration and supply agreements, and general commercial agreements.I am registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office and have litigated numerous patent cases. My experience prosecuting and litigating patents on behalf of multinational and start-up companies, including substantial experience in Hatch-Waxman litigation for both generic and branded pharmaceutical companies, informs my counsel on transactional and investment matters.Prior to practicing law, I held postdoctoral research positions at The Scripps Research Institute and at Georgetown University Medical Center. I am a named co-inventor on four US patents and am a co-author of over 10 peer-reviewed research publications.
