Graduating in Physics from Delhi University, I was always thought I was meant to be in Science & Technology, but that got cut short as I decided to do Marketing & Finance for Masters Degree. I am always ready to move out of my comfort zone, as I believe being too comfortable is a sign of wasted potential. I am a Corporate Girl during the week and an Independent Artist on the weekends. I like singing, songwriting & directing videos, which in turn makes me be thankful for my day job. I like to think of myself as a little ecosystem of finance and art.As a Freelance Video Production professional, I combine my passion for art and music with my skills in filmmaking I have created multiple self-directed music videos, showcasing my talents as a singer-songwriter, director, producer, editor, screenplay writer, art director, talent manager, stylist, MUA, etc. I was nominated for Rengoni Music Awards 2023 in the Best Video Category & Best Female Singer Category for my first ever self-produced, self-directed & self-written song "Roopkonwar ". I also work on various projects for clients, delivering high-quality videos that meet their expectations and goals.I also worked for a Multi-Media Marketing Firm called Vibe Out Entertainment, that specialises in Video Production for Brands & Independent Films. In client servicing, I am expected to manage existing client portfolios, understand their production expectations and translate it to the technical team along with covering out-of-office ad film shoots and events on behalf of the client.Before that, I was placed as a Relationship Manager at HDFC Bank Ltd, in Business Banking, where I managed Working Capital Products in the Upper Assam & Nagaland region. I was responsible for acquisition, portfolio management, housekeeping, CAM approval, property evaluation for collateral, limit disbursement, renewal, enhancements and providing 360 degree banking services to high-profile clients. I received the Nari Shakti Award for outstanding performance as the first female RM in the Working Capital Department in that region.Nevertheless, I have always shown initiative in organisation based creative work, which is why my time as a Research Intern for The Sentinel, an English Daily Newspaper and Media House, while I was pursuing my MBA turned out to be a daily reminder, that freelancing is not the only option if you want to be a creative individual in a corporate setting. Hence, I am thankful for both my corporate and artistic experiences, as they have made me a balanced and versatile professional.
