The Women International Leadership Conference (WIL) empowers women with diverse academic and professional backgrounds from across the world to take charge of their careers and put themselves on the path to leadership. Undergraduate students at Jacobs University have been organizing the conference since 2015.We are expecting speakers from all over the world, from various social backgrounds, with different careers to talk about their personal experience or an issue that they have worked on. Among our guests, we will have academics, social entrepreneurs, CEOs, politicians, activists, engineers, and so on. Through panel discussions, a so-called campfire session, and a small networking event, our participants will actively engage with our guests and our sponsors. Beyond the conference, WIL seeks to create a network for people who want to contribute to a more gender equal world.
