About Darwin Conner

I have worked at large, international law firms for quite some time. While working as a partner in the corporate department (primarily in lending/corporate finance, representing large banks, lending institutions, hedge funds and borrowers), I also chaired the firm's DEI Committee. In that role and in my current role, I am responsible for developing and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy, including creating a strategic action plan and budget, presenting at EC and partner meetings; liaising with Affinity Groups and the Associates Committee on all DEI issues and concerns; developing and instituting firm-wide workshops, training programs, seminars, and broad initiatives to educate partners, associates, and our business professionals, promoting the firm’s DEI strategy; and identifying and working with DEI consultants for outside programming offered at the firm.My interests include basketball (both playing and watching, although my knees fight me on how much they will let me play these days), reading (of course), and travel (which I am very passionate about).I am also a bar owner and would love to welcome you at The Elgin - https://www.elginnyc.com/
