As manager of sustaining engineering, I am responsible for a team of 5 people that provide product engineering support to purchasing, field service, and operations. We help keep production running, qualify new parts and vendors to solve supply chain shortages, respond to customer inquiries, and address quality issues to reduce warranty costs. Other duties include budget and resource planning, prioritizing projects, and supporting agency approvals.

Other duties include design work of new washer components using PTC Creo, interpreting and understanding the impact of new agency regulations such as Department of Energy and UL, and helping to solve field and manufacturing issues with our products.
