Two Bulls is a boutique application development company that specialises in creating iOS and Android applications.Daryl was engaged to test the new applications on iOS/Android using many different devices to ensure quality was built into the application before it was released into the online market place.Main Responsibilities:• Attend and participate in agile stand-ups• Create test cases from user stories including negative testing scenarios• Perform sanity checks for implemented user stories• Test execution using various mobile and tablet devices on iOS and Android platforms• Defect management using Pivotal Tracker and Target Process Tools• Ensuring agile project board is up to date• Liaise and follow up with the developers about defectsKey Achievements:• The main application tested – Higgns was demonstrated at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 (CES2015) by Qualcomm.

The Ministry of Justice is a Government department located in NZ. The test team was a stand-alone team that was engaged when new internal applications were developed or changes were made. Many of the enhancements were due to changes in legislation.Daryl was engaged to test business critical applications to ensure new applications or enhancements did not negatively impact the Ministry of Justice’s existing applications. Main Responsibilities:• Test process activities – test estimates, test analysis and design, test implementation and execution and test completion reports• Liaise with business units and vendors for the clarification of requirements and application functions • Contribute to workshops and pilots run by the vendor to increase system knowledge• Facilitate UAT testing phase by analysing project documentation, creating test cases, defect management and being the point of contact for the UAT testers have• Reporting of test execution progress and hold-ups to my test lead• Engage in knowledge sharing with the teamKey Achievements:• Able to release quality software into production within tight deadlines set by Government• Minimal defects found in production which meant business units able to perform their job without disruption

Kiwibank is a bank that is owned by the NZ Government.Daryl performed a bank office banking role tasked with completing administrative tasks to ensure customers received great service in a timely manner. Main Responsibilities:• Outbound calling customers for additional information and clarification.• Amending Term Deposit investments as per customer requests• Accurate and efficient loading of Automatic payments and direct debits.• Opening various new account types for customers – part of the first Notice Saver Team• Dealing with customers queries.• Providing third parties with confidential informationKey Achievements:• Creating a process flow for opening bank accounts remotely• Positive feedback received from branches (post offices) when assisting with maintenance of term deposits

The NZ Racing Board is the statutory body for NZ Sports betting. It manages the TAB betting agencies (The only betting agency in NZ). Daryl’s role involved working in a call centre and taking Phonebets for various sporting events for a range of different customers whilst being very accurate. Main Responsibilities:• Demonstrate good listening and communication skills with a courteous telephone manner to a range of customers• Provide a customer focused service and answer any questions punters may have about previous bets, betting rules and odds• Place bets efficiently on operator terminals through customer phone calls• Work under pressure during big races/sporting events Key Achievements:• Being able to handle the pressure of placing bets during large sporting events – Melbourne Cup, Super Rugby
