My name is Daryl Turner Jr, I graduated from Coastal Carolina University in May of 2021, with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Sport Management.Working in sports and recreation has helped me become a subject matter expert in how to be a leader and team player within the industry. It has also shaped how I view the industry and how I approach each situation. As I progress in my career, I would like to learn as much as possible from professionals within the field and bring what knowledge I do have to the table.Recently, recreation has become a substantial part of my everyday life, as it is something I am passionate about. While attending Coastal Carolina University, I earned a supervisory position at the University Recreation facility on campus and worked as an Equipment Manager for the Coastal Carolina D1 Football team. I also was involved with the recruitment of talented athletes while working with Coastal Football Recruiting. Upon Graduation, I have worked with the National Football League in Game Statistics and Information Systems and have also worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional with Westport Public Schools. This has allowed me to grow both as a professional in the sports industry while also helping me grow as an individual to help young students become the best versions of themselves.
