About Daryl Williams

Lucius "Daryl" Williams is currently the manager of energy services for key industrial clients at the Tennessee Valley Authority, the largest public power producer in the U.S. He is responsible for developing and delivering strategic energy management solutions (i.e.: Strategic Energy Management platforms, advanced manufacturing technologies, renewables, electrification, energy efficiency) to TVA’s industrial and federal customers that improve infrastructure and reduce O&M costs. This includes the implementation of DOE Utility Energy Services Contract (UESC) projects for TVA's federal customers such as Redstone Arsenal. Williams previously served as Senior Manager, Clean Energy & Generation Technology in TVA’s Technology Innovation Group. He has over 30 years of experience in power generation, environment, renewable energy, energy management, chemical weapons demilitarization, international project management, and chemical plant operations. He is responsible for developing and implementing a number of clean energy projects at TVA including TVA’s Buffalo Mountain Wind Farm. Additionally, he successfully lead chemical weapons demilitarization (Chem Demil) projects at numerous U.S. Army Non-Stockpile installations including Rocky Mountain Arsenal and in the former Soviet Union including sites in Russia and Uzbekistan. He was Engineer of the Year for TVA’s River System Operations & Environment organization, Chairman of the Biomass Interest Group at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), National Environmental Engineer of the Year Runner Up, and he was a delegate to the United States - Russia Joint Commission on Russian Defense Conversion. Daryl has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mississippi and is a graduate of Vanderbilt University’s Leadership Management Accelerated Program.
