Goals for the year include stronger recruitment and retention of CCA members, more industry opportunities for students, creation of a publication, consistent branding, and stronger connections with the industry.Convening and facilitating two labs for non-film school students to pursue their dreams: Film Criticism Lab, and Filmmaking Lab (with emphasis on low-budget filmmaking).

In charge of programming film screenings for our 100-member wide CCA. Programmed a wide-range of films from commercial hits to festival successes. Partnered with directors such as Stefanos Tai (We Don't Dance for Nothing) to connect directly with our students.

In charge of the planning and execution of workshops for our 300 residents. Looking to connect with business leaders interested in sharing skills with our residents from relevant industries like financial planning, real estate, cryptocurrency, etc. Also looking for other artists interested to share skills with our residents.

I led a twenty-member team of designers, videographers, and writers in content creation with a focus on the marketing of our residential hall. This experience challenged me to work with graphic design and content creation while bearing in mind branding and marketing goals.One successful event we spear-headed was Saraca Store that connected our residents to 30 student businesses. We also raised $1000 for our Hall through sales and commission.

- Assisted in programming decisions, particularly through feature and short films, and spear-heading of Forum ideas. With special focus on Singaporean short films.- Managed programming-adjacent portfolios such as Gala Event invites, QnA moderation and management of moderators and screenings, conducting and management of School Tours, outreach to institutions, IMDA liaison, writing of synopsis and promotional articles.

- Assisted in the National Youth Film Awards project- Scope of work included: Administration of submissions, delegation of films, facilitation of jury discussions, writing of jury citations, organising of private screenings for nominees and industry guests, ticketing systems, planning and execution of the Script Lab prorgamme, planning of award ceremony, floor management, management of festival exchange to Busan International Film Festival, post-project report, and assistance in finances and budget management.

- Managed and oversaw the five teams in the Festival- Brought outstanding films to Singapore, including 2023 festival favourites (Southeast Asian Premiere of 'Perfect Days', 'Smoke Sauna Sisterhood' and 'The Klezmer Project' and Asian Premiere of 'Paco') and restorations (Satyajit Ray's 'The Music Room', 'Black God, White Devil', 'Trances' and 'The Shout')- Introduced and hosted ancillary events like Community Night, which uses Quiz Night mechanics to connect with the local film community- Faciliated media kits and PR relationships with local film industry members to promote the Festival

- Programme Director at the highly-successful Short Circuit, taking over from founders Alfian Sa'at, Boo Junfeng, and He Shuming.- Curated a lineup of excellent queer local short films from call-for-entries and outreach to filmmakers, and proposed community engagement means through boothing and ancillary events.- Managed programming-adjacent portfolios such as promotional materials, media mentions, film traffic, QnA moderation, and IMDA liaison. - Two sold-out screenings at The Projector within a week of ticket sales, and a third screening added from popular demand.

- Raised $8k in cash for the club through merchandise sales, sponsorship and partnership deals- Advanced welfare and quality of sponsored items for our 2000 students through consistent and trusted brand deals- Partnered with strong brands like d'Arena in the area to provide new and unique forms of experiences for students (e.g. free Go-Karting)- Beyond my job scope, spearheaded and managed SOH Fiesta (SOH Week), the flagship and major event of the school. Artpeace is a philanthropic youth organisation raising awareness about social issues through different mediums of art, extending across Asia, Oceania, and Europe.I am working on a theatrical play with fellow writers from Hong Kong, Australia, South Africa and Singapore. The play focuses on the construction of the self, with emphasis on the effects of neurodivergency, mental health, and familial relationships. The experience of writing with writers of different cultures, styles, and backgrounds provided an opportunity to learn about different perspectives. Simultaneously, the distilling of these perspectives into a singular work is an opportunity in understanding how to reconcile and maximise differing viewpoints--a critical aspect of collaborative creation.

JustEdu was my gap year employment meant to sustain myself financially, where my job scope focused on operational management, customer service, and administrative organisation. Through my liaising position, I was able to develop my conflict resolution abilities. However, upon recognition of my abilities, I was given the opportunity to teach several classes. While teaching is not an interest of mine, my patience and knowledge became useful for my work there. Nonetheless, this experience surprisingly provided me with the opportunity to hone my communication skills by ensuring that I am understood.

I served as an Admin Support Assistant in SAF Commando. While there, I had the privilege of being put in a leadership role for my branch that provided me with opportunities on strategic planning, event management, and content creation. I also had the privilege of making presentations and pitches to Chief Commando Officer and other high-ranking officers within the Formation. This culminated in a SAF Chief Commando Officer Coin upon the completion of my service. My greatest privilege was in working closely with my branch colleagues in the completion of our tasks. Unlike other leaders in SAF who had the power associated with their rank or position to exercise their responsibility, I had to lead from amongst the pack. This challenged the way I negotiated my roles as leader and colleague, and challenged me on my notion of leadership. Ultimately, it gave me great pleasure to be able to motivate and lead my colleagues into the excellent completion of our roles. I consider it an honour to have been able to work with my neurodivergent colleagues, especially, in creating a safe space where effective communication facilitated mutual understanding and cooperation.

Wrote promotional pieces with perspectives on marketing and film criticism. It developed my ability to articulate and communicate through writing, while bearing in mind the need to market the short films in an attractive manner. Julian, the co-founder and managing editor, was also extremely helpful and generous in his mentorship and comments, furthering honing my writing abilities. Worked on content creation (written, photos and videos) with a focus on the marketing and branding of the business-to-business platform. Under the mentorship of the amazingly-talented founders Ben and Ginny, I also represented the company in liaising with business clients on-site.I decided to challenge myself by interning for an industry I'm not familiar with, and therefore opted for GorillaSpace--straddling the fin-tech and real estate industries. It was a fresh perspective that challenged and hence enhanced my understanding of business models and the running of start-ups.

Mentored by film critic Kevin B. Lee and other prominent members of the Film Industry on film appreciation and film criticism. Networked and met with regional filmmakers. This experience developed my interest in film, and challenged the way I engage with the medium and articulate my appreciation of it in a way that others can understand. The vast perspectives offered by my peers also provided opportunities for me to better learn about the medium. The programme culminated in the awarding of a Youth Jury Prize to a regional short film of our choice, and several written criticism pieces assisted by our mentors.
