My role was to manage and motivate a small team of administrators to focus on first achieving customer and business led KPI’s and SLA’s and then improving efficiency in order to exceed them. Using Develop Training’s IT steering group I proposed and project managed the creation of two new interlinked tools for use within the admin teams, which was pivotal to improving efficiency and achieving customer excellence. This has comprehensively transformed the business’ ability to effectively plan our trainers, order and process course material and track the various stages of certification of qualifications. It also allowed me to set a zero tolerance policy for none compliance as well as equip the business with the capacity to spot problems before they occur.

I was employed by Develop Training to take on administration duties from the team at the Whitwell Training Centre which was closing. On success of the handover of several accounts I set out to seek where I could improve the efficiency of how they operated. Immediately forming a close relationship with our IT team, we began creating a tool to manage the training requirements for Northumbrian Water. This is where the LAP as we know it now really started to get legs and save myself hours and hours of unnecessary work.
