Bringing distinction in your approach to the logistics management field can be challenging! I believe this defines my brand – “…a skillful manager with a track record for getting things done." It’s like putting your money where your mouth is, I suppose. Because of my approach, I’m well suited for top management and leadership in the logistics field. I have worked with several major military organizations, including the Marine Corps Logistics Command, responsible for the daily operations of the Fleet Support Division in Albany. Our job is to provide enterprise-level distribution management for ground weapons management and associated materials—leader of U.S. Marines with 20 years of military service, including multiple combat deployments to Iraq.These are a few examples of the opportunities I have had to analyze and coordinate logistical functions in a fast-paced, global environment seeing the product through acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final use. Critical ingredients to these accomplishments include critical thinking, active listening, complex problem solving, monitoring, time management, coordination, and decision making, which must all be delivered with a service orientation. I believe my most extraordinary skills include understanding and streamlining processes and improving organizational effectiveness through detailed planning and development of productive relationships at all levels. My expertise extends to change management, inventory management, standards and procedures compliance, material handling, vendor and staff relations, logistics planning, and continuous process improvement. I am also very knowledgeable of Department of Defense procedures and policies related to Logistics, Transportation, Distribution, and Facilities.
