Worked as part of CloudOps team and with CPaaS (Cloud-Platform-As-a-Service) to build, maintain and continuously improve the platform onto which many Nutanix products are onboarded. My contributions have been but not limited to the following:• Set up many engineering and cloud native tools for monitoring, security, durability and high availability such as Grafana, Redash, Wazuh, Cosign, Velero.• Setting up of monitoring and logging stack which involved VictoriaMetrics, Opensearch, Filebeat, Logstash, Prometheus.• Prepared and implemented DR for OngDB (neo4j open-source) with end-to-end backup and recovery options.• Migrated Cost Governance and Security Central products from Hashicorp Stack to Kubernetes by creating various automation scripts in Golang. Built dashboards and alerting rules to monitor different products and components with Grafana and Prometheus.• Configured logging pipeline from CPaaS to Nutanix Splunk.• Created custom kubernetes controllers to reload Flink taskmanager pods and setup telegraf jolokia on kubernetes to scrape JMX metrics.• Automated backup and recovery of RDS instances with AWS Lambda functions.• Gave numerous tech talks on setup of tools such as velero, jenkins on k8s, pulumi, crossplane, cosign and chaos mesh.• Created an application in Golang to create resource utilisation and usage reports for various AWS resources and send timely notifications on Slack.• Created vault token and dynamic secrets rotation module in order to update Kubernetes secrets using them.• Created terraform scripts and ansible playbooks to provision various resources on AWS and automate instance patching, neo4j setup, KOps instance group provisioning and many other tasks.
