Primary responsibility is to analyze data and prepare it for printing on Xerox printers so it can be mailed. Technologies include VFP, Business Objects ACE, BO Match/Consolidate, and BO Presort. Utilizing these technologies, I created a data processing wizard for the department in order to create consistent output and reports. The wizard helped reduce errors and inconsistencies in processing jobs resulting in better customer satisfaction and quicker turnaround times. Analyzed several existing complex processes and streamlined them, writing VFP programs to enable other team members to process these complex processes easily and in a shorter amount of time. I am responsible for getting our company certified to submit electronic documentation to the USPS. This included researching the requirements, setting up Presort templates to produce consistent and accurate output, create test scenarios, and finally coordinate with the USPS once the testing phase was complete.

Member of dev team responsible for upgrades and bug fixes to existing accounting and order entry system. I worked closely with our customer service accounting data entry and sales groups to assess their deficiencies and suggest changes to the software that they use to make their jobs easier. The current system is older procedural FoxPro 2.x code I am upgrading the software to VFP7 utilizing modern coding techniques and reusable object oriented code. Analyze current processes and recommend upgrades to enhance efficiency. Rewrite the billing software to be easier to maintain by utilizing OOP. Update data import routine cutting time to process from up to minutes down to seconds. Create ad-hoc reports for management. Use InstallShield to create setup for internal program setups and 3rd party wrappers.
