- Resolved stability and scalability issues for Storage in a High Performance Computing HUB environment and implement solutions for making the environment resilient by profiling jobs, identifying high impact workloads and segregating them to different zones - Automated implementations for standardizing network configurations globally to load balance traffic which increased network bandwidth by 100% while reducing the total number of connections by 4x and also avoided purchases of 20 heads in the critical path resulting in a saving of USD 1.1 million- Conducted new capability testing and deployment. Proof of concept [PoC] new technologies to reduce footprint on licensed technologies, evaluate performance of licensed technologies with custom solutions. Phased deployment with customers. Productized integration of features in standard environment after forum and tech reviews. Developed automation for global adoption of features and easier administration - Managed downtimes EOL’ing fileservers and migrating capacity from Netapp 7-mode to C-mode. Worked with customers to identify their dependencies during the downtime and isolated them. Also, 32 7-mode nodes were consolidated to only 8 cmode nodes as part of this downtime which reduced physical footprintRecognized with several divisional awards.

- As a Field Engineer, configured the batch environment, administered fileservers, worked with vendors for troubleshooting and resolving performance problems in a safe and secure manner. Set up backups and quota management. Also responsible for capacity planning and forecast addition of computes for internal customer- Developed automated solutions to identify inconsistencies in user environment by comparing with baseline and enabled self-provisioning to resolve them- Implemented efficiencies for handling operations by building automated tools to create special service accounts which resulted in a 66% improvement in MTTR [mean-time-to-resolve such requests]- Worked on developing indicators and generated automated reports for different subsystems.
