I was engaged as the Program Director for a large transformation program. This program covered migration of all core and non-core reconciliations (NOSTRO, DEPOT (Trade & Position), Exchange, Intersystem, Confirmations, etc.) for all lines of business (IB, Retail, Cards, Wealth management, Corporate banking, etc.) across APAC, EMEA and North America onto SunGard IntelliMatch 9.1. Primary objective was to provide a bank-wide enterprise utility to bring down operational cost, reduce reconciliation on-boarding time and improve efficiency. This program was executed in distributed /scaled Agile methodology over a 27 month period with a peak team size of approximately 110 resources. As the program director my responsibilities included Managing primary stakeholder’s expectations. P&L management for the program to ensure both revenues and margins targets are met Budgeting & Planning for future engagements including account mining and business development Own change / risk management process, risk tracking and scope management Program Management as well as Cost & Effort management Coaching team members in functional as well as projectized work environmentsIn addition to the above program I was also responsible for managing the BAU book of work for IB, Retail and Cards Line-of-Business.

I was the Solution Head for the Reconciliation Centre-of-Excellence @ Wipro Technologies, heading a large team of reconciliation product SMEs as well domain consultants. Our group was responsible for providing system integration, production support, configuration and consulting services around market leaders like “SmartStream TLM” and “SunGard IntelliMatch”. In this role I was  Acting as the primary anchor for any new business from Banks / Financial Institutions, engaged various groups (Service lines, Account delivery, Sales, Business analysts, etc.) Responsible for solution design, effort & cost estimation as well as financial engineering and own the responses to RFPs and RFIs to sales and / or customers.  Responsible for planning and executing capability and capacity improvement plans by engaging product vendors in providing training to identified key resources for deployment at various reconciliation projects on TLM and IntelliMatch as well as focused hiring for domain and product specific requirements from various customers Responsible for leading development teams for the creation of solution accelerators around automated test cases, source feeds & data layer management and MIS reporting

Experience in developing and managing to Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). Risk & Scope management – Project Quality Management Assessed projects feasibilities, ensured various project plans are on track for the different business groups.

The most recent role at Infosys was program-managing the Reconciliation engagement with a large investment bank based out of Europe for the on-boarding of ETD reconciliations onto SmartStream TLM for EMEA and APAC regions over an 18 month period. Primary responsibilities were Managing the Customer expectations and maintaining satisfaction with services offered Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project. Managing the account / program / partner and other stakeholder expectations. Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.During that same time I was also the lead consultant to Products and Platform initiatives group within Infosys that was working on developing a configurable rule based reconciliation and exception management platform to address reconciliation requirements of securities firms, investment & retail banks and asset management firms.
