Quality planning is a cornerstone of effective project management, ensuring that deliverables meet or exceed stakeholder expectations. Project delays often stem from inadequate planning, poor planning can manifest in several ways, including undefined scope, inaccurate time estimates, resource constraints, or insufficient risk assessment. These challenges not only impact project timelines but can also strain stakeholder relationships and escalate costs.In my ~15 years project/program manager professional experience, I encountered a project where incomplete initial planning led to significant delays. The root causes included ambiguous scope definition and a lack of alignment among key stakeholders.
