A Business Intelligence Consultant based on the South Coast. My background is in database development and management in SME’s using Microsoft technologies. In 2010 I relocated to Hampshire to work with the newly founded Business Intelligence Consultancy The Data Studio which merged with Tableau Gold Partner InterWorks in 2013.InteWorks specialise in helping organisations make sense out of their data. Almost all companies use Information Technology in some form or another to record and process their data. From recording basic details in an excel spread sheet to the standard accounting packages such as Sage all the way up to the large databases and data warehouses. During the IT boom of the 1990’s and into the 21st century companies have got better and better at recording their data. But despite this many companies are only scratching the surface of the potentially game changing information that they have hidden away in their data stores. What I do is to help these companies convert unwieldy data into rapidly accessible, relevant and meaningful information from which underlying patterns and trends can be identified and used to drive business decisions.I pride myself with my ability to quickly learn about companies individual business processes and information requirements as well as being able to rapidly develop on their underlying technologies.
