As a research epidemiologist, I surface insights that drive impact. To all my work, I bring over 20 years of expertise in real-world evidence, observational research, and a track record of leading high-impact projects; I am passionate about leveraging heterogeneous data sources to "connect the dots", including electronic health records. wearable sensor technology, and sociodemographic variables. Skilled in written and verbal scientific communication, I collaborate with small non-profits, major pharmaceutical firms, and public health organizations to create innovative solutions to complex health challenges. Previously, I built the Research Insights & Innovations team from the ground up as Senior Director at SEIU 775 Benefits Group. There, I spearheaded observational and interventional research focused on improving the lives of 60,000 home care workers. While the Scientific Director at the Urban Indian Health Institute, I led research on health equity for American Indian and Alaska Native populations.I actively participate in professional communities, continuously evolving my software and methodological proficiencies to remain ahead of the curve, notably with LLMs and generative AI. As a volunteer and board member of Northeast Seattle Together, I advocate for community well-being and mobilize stakeholders around aging well.In every role, I leverage data, scientific rigor, and an equity-driven mindset to catalyze meaningful change.
