I have over 15 years of experience working in information technology and risk management. Currently, I work as an Information Security Analyst / Controls Assessor for the Army’s Cyber Readiness Inspection Activity, where my team and I ensure that the security controls that are implemented by organizations are effective and meet recommended standards, providing documented assessment reports with recommendations on how to reduce or eliminate unacceptable risk and identified vulnerabilities. Previously, I was a Senior Computer Systems Analyst, improving confidentiality and availability for remote information systems for our customers in degraded locations outside of the United States. and reduced the threat footprint and implemented risk mitigations while assessing vulnerabilities.If you catch me outside of work, I'm normally spending time with my family and trying my best to stay physically and mentally fit.*Excellent knowledge and use of NIST SP 800-37 and 800-53. *Exceptional organizational skills and works well under pressure.
