I started at Boyer's the day after I graduated high school as a means to earn money while going to college. I decided to continue to work at Boyer's throughout my collegiate career which allowed me to learn certain skills that would be valuable to any workplace. Some of these skills include effective communication with management and coworkers, being a team player, training workers for certain tasks or departments, and customer relations. I started as a produce clerk where I learned how to run the department and effectively be an acting manager for it when asked of me. I eventually moved into being a grocery clerk where I gained more responsibilities such as ordering product and essentially managing Boyer's Click N Shop service for the store, I work in. I earned my "Red B" which signifies that I was trained in every department, allowing me to help out anywhere in the store when problems would arise for certain departments and sometimes other stores.
