The past forty-two years have been in a professional capacity covering every aspect of vessel operation including general seamanship, crew management, crew training, maintenance, basic engineering, electronic equipment, general business management and new vessel construction. I protected the owner’s interests through yard periods in the United States, Spain, Germany, Australia and New Zealand. I had the privilege of being involved, to varying degrees, in eight new construction projects between six different shipyards and all three construction mediums. I also spent 3.5 years in the offshore oil field operating commercial vessels.Since May 2018 to present I have been the captain of a 95 meter motor yacht engaged in heavy charter and private use in the Mediterranean, UK, Caribbean and US.
