Joined Colchester Car Auctions in 1991 as vehicle inspector and driver. Became yard chargehand in 1993 then Yard Manager at Colchester for some five and a half years. Upon Manheim buying out the auction business was recruited to oversee introduction of Manheim Certified into United Kingdom operations owing to technical knowledge principally gained from employment with a major motor manufacturer. Introduced and indeed carried out Certified inspections around the business until branch appointed inspectors recruited and trained by me. Involved in introduction of Manheim Assured product around the group and trained personnel in carrying out these inspections. Involved in overseeing refurb programme around group and liaising with Flying Colours and Dent Wizard setting up roadshows around the country to showcase Manheim's products to potential customers. Currently involved in training and auditing vehicle inspections at 8 Manheim sites in the South of the country.
