Manage all areas of Information Technology for the company. Maintain and negotiate with vendors to purchase and lease equipment. Maintain inventory of hardware and software licenses. Designed, planned, and executed the move of the company’s datacenter which consisted of about 20 serves serving over 300 users at 19 sites throughout the country from Livermore, CA to Warrenville, IL. Responsible for negotiating and maintaining voice and data communication contracts and services which saved the company considerable amount of money. Maintain an acceptable level of computer support for all users. Fully support the Inter-Tel phone system including system programming and reporting. Wrote the company security policy and implemented security company wide on all routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and workstations. Redesigned the network to mitigate the risk of attack and intrusion.I am currently in the process of rolling out an IP based system to all of our sites.

Responsible for Infrastructure, Client Services, Technology Support, Information Security, and Disaster Recovery. The managers of Client Services, Technology Support, and Infrastructure report to me. I reorganized our support structure to be able to efficiently and effectively support our clients. Responsible for keeping the company’s network secure and keeping the IT level disaster recovery plan up to date. Created and supported a nationwide rollout of handheld scanning devices. The devices were the Intermec 760C mobile computers. I had to develop a way for the device to be cold boot recoverable and be fully managed remotely. I used the Wavelink Avalanche management server to remotely manage about 500 devices. I also developed and documented the procedure for loading these devices and managed the rollout to over 50 sites throughout the country. In addition I had to develop a secure wireless solution for our Hillside location, our 260,000 square foot Crossdock location
