My primary responsibility is to develop strong connections with the school districts within a 40 mile radius of the Bourbonnais campus of ONU. My territory covers 77 school districts with a combined total of nearly 200 schools. This enables me to directly recruit teachers and administrators to consider several graduate programs to enhance their educational careers and goals. I also fulfill the role of Regional Chaplain and serve the spiritual needs of five graduate cohorts.

I have served as the lead pastor of seven Nazarene congregations in my ministerial career, all of them full-time positions except the last one which was a bi-vocational assignment (co-vocational as it is currently termed) My responsibilities have included regular preaching, leading church boards, calling on the sick, ministering to the needy and managing budgets, along with many other responsibilities too numerous to list. Most of the congregations where I've served have had less than 100 people in regular attendance but have been vibrant and active in their communities.

I recruited teachers to enroll in our Master's programs by traveling in the Bourbonnais/Kankakee area schools and holding information meetings.

Was responsible for testing and implementing the Touchstar Call Center software system as well as assembling a small team of student workers to make phone calls.

I served this community of believers for three years and helped guide them through the refinancing of their debt, a major re-do of the church roof system and other facility issues that needed attention. During our time together we saw steady numerical and financial growth and a new fresh outlook on their core value focus.

Managed and marketed the services and facilities of a 30 acre camp and conference center. Supervised two full-time and several part-time employees. Managed an annual budget of $450,000 and oversaw several small construction and remodeling projects. Led the camp board in developing a 5-10 year plan for expansion.

I had the privilege of working with some very fine clients and offered professional advice tailored to their risk tolerance and long-term goals.
