Fisheries Management Biologist for Iowa DNR in Bellevue. Team Leader/Administrator for my office, which primarily conducts fisheries, water quality, and aquatic vegetation monitoring and resource trend analysis on Pool 13 of the Upper Mississippi River (the stretch of Iowa's waters between Bellevue and Clinton).

Worked in Iowa DNR's central office in Des Moines and then field office in Manchester, primarily in the public drinking water supply program. Inspected public drinking water supplies in northeastern Iowa to ensure compliance with state and federal drinking water standards and offered them technical assistance to keep them in compliance. Also worked in the stormwater program, mostly dealing with complaints from the public about stormwater runoff issues into the waters of the State, and worked to gain compliance with state and federal stormwater runoff regulations.
