CurrentFlicker of Hope Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit that supports survivors of traumatic burn injuries. Conduct annual 5K fun walks that convene at the Vienna, VA Fire Station at 400 Center Street South. Flicker of Hope was established in 2001 by former Freddie Mac employee and burn survivor David Borowski and his wife, Kerry Cadden. The Foundation provides scholarship to burn survivors, support to survivors of traumatic burn injuries and their families, and fire safety education. Their biography of Dave, On a Ring and a Prayer: The Remarkable Life of a Burn Survivor, will be available for purchase and signing. All proceeds benefit FHF’s scholarship fund.
