CurrentKirklees Homes and Neighbourhoods is the leading housing and related services provider within Kirklees. With a stock profile of circa 22,000 homes, a turnover of over £70M and circa 900 employees.As part of the senior leadership team Dave leads on operational delivery for Kirklees Council through the Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) Property Services. Dave holds accountability for the effective management of day to day repairs, planned maintenance, voids management, mechanical and electrical services for both the housing stock and the Council's Corporate buildings. With a budget of circa £40m, risk management, health and safety and compliance, and business transformation of the DLO.Within Property Services leads and manages the following teams:• Commercial management including fleet, logistics, stores, systems etc.• Diverse workforce management including 350 operatives and 150 support/professional services • Procurement and Supply Chain Management• Health, Safety and Environment• Compliance delivery• Key account and stakeholder relationship management in a political environmentAs a senior officer prepares and presents reports to the Housing Advisory Board and is a member of the Building Safety Assurance Board. Dave works with the Senior Leadership Team and elected Members at Kirklees Council and is the lead officer for Homes and Neighbourhoods on operational delivery.
