Q/A Paints Coatings
Q/A work and Nace application and removal of coating systems on outer hull interior, tanks, voids, free flood areas for Nuclear & Non Nuclear scope of work surface and sub surface proceedings.Documentation of procedures done turned into pre/post brief text.Use and knowledge of various spray equipment. Have a background in Nuclear work and have taught employee training in this field on east coast and west coast..Worked with blast (setup-breakdown) and paint equipment and pneumatic tools. Blasting and painting balst tanks and outer hull exterior and interior surfaces of subs and surface crafts also working in reactor compartment and nuclear field. Taking wet and dry film readings and environmental readings, saline test, blueprint reading. Applying epoxy coatings, anti fouling enamels high solid and fast clad coatings .Plus the non nuclear and nuclear paper work (TWD) to do these jobs and write reports so job can continue. Also nuclear trained with R ,Q B,I,O,SR,SQ,18,I qual .Keeping a safe work environment supervising and instructing others to work in a safe manner, also setting up projects manning and equipment to get the job done with quality and first time workmanship in time allotted. Also experience working with unions & contractual langue and negotiating teams. Training and scheduling personal in nuclear/ radiological practices for contamination and radiological areas. Working with TWD and looking them over for workably and if not sat then getting engineering to fix problems with DR, RDR,DL. Working in radiological drill and directing people on what needs to be done. Visiting other bases to train observe other personal in there radiological situations. Setting up mock ups for personal and giving test and quizzes for retention of knowledge in field. Writing out reports on personnel on strengths weakness and making recommendations on the areas to management. Also a member of the Radiological Response Team
