In my role as General Counsel of Aptimus, I had primary legal responsibility for all of Apollo’s marketing, product strategy, business intelligence, product development (engineering) and media purchase activities.

Served as General Counsel & Secretary of the online ad network, Aptimus, Inc. (NASDAQ: APTM), from its IPO to the 2007 sale of the company to Apollo Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: APOL). In this role, I managed all aspects of the company’s corporate development, contractual relations, IP development & protection, M&A, regulatory compliance, employment, real estate and corporate governance. In addition, I worked closely with the CFO on all finance-related matters, including multiple private equity financings and lender relationships. I also led the Business Development team during a period of rapid growth in network relationships and revenue.

Served as General Counsel & Secretary of publicly traded (Nasdaq: RIDE) international manufacturer and marketer of adrenaline sports products (snowboard, wakeboard, surf, motocross) from 1996 IPO to 1999 sale of company to K2, Inc. (NYSE: KTO). Served as acting COO during executive management transition and absence.
