WHY DID I CHOOSE A CAREER IN WAREHOUSING?At the beginning of my working life, a plum warehousing job presented itself at Reebok that I couldn't refuse. My thought process at the time: Being associated with such a well-known sports brand would lend an air of prestige and reputation building; after all, I was flattered that a "name" company like Rebook wanted me to join their team!Admittedly, I didn't know too much about warehousing and the role it played in contributing to a company's success. As time passed, though, I embraced the opportunity for learning more and more on the job. In turn, Reebok was more than willing to make sure that their warehouse employees received extra training in such areas as shipping, receiving, and forklift operation. As a result, the value I could offer Reebok increased substantially because I soaked up this new knowledge like a sponge.WHY DO MY CO-WORKERS LIKE WORKING WITH ME?At Reebok (and other places I have since worked for), I continue to uphold a long-standing reputation for being dependable, reliable, and dedicated. Peers and managers know that if they assign a task to me, they can count on me to get the job done right. WHAT MOTIVATES ME IN THE WORKPLACE?I vow to complete tasks as quickly as possible with a higher-than-average sense of accuracy.MY APPROACH TO MEETING DEADLINESGenerally speaking, I can meet most deadlines with ease; however, if something totally unexpected crops up, I will go to my supervisor and inform him that I require assistance.
