Worked as a customer assistant part time this gave me opportunities to do some house redevelopment, it was great to work at floor level after so long in a management role, really enjoyed the experience of seeing things from a different side, learnt loads which I will take with me now I'm back in a management role. When housing projects had finished I was offered an opportunity to join Screwfix and return to a management role.

After 3 month as Assistant Manager I was promoted to Branch Manager, responsible for all aspects of running a busy builders merchant which also specialised in plumbing. Had an opportunity to complete some housing redevelopment projects which I took these were very successful joined WIckes while these were in progress.
