I am a founding member of Integral Asset Management [ May 2016]. I began my career in 1972, working as an analyst for London & Dominion Trust Ltd[Institutional fund management], culminating in being head of research; thereafter, various stockbroking firms, as of Head of Research and fund management. Between 1981 and 1996, I was Chief Investment manager of First National Asset Management & Trust Company (Pty) Ltd[ A subsidiary of the First National Bank group]. Between 1996 and 2000 I was Director in charge of Private Client and Fund Management at BoE NatWest Securities. BoE Personal Stockbrokers (Pty) Ltd was a split off from BoE Securities, where I was Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer. I then joined SP Reid & Mackeurtan (Pty) Ltd[part of The Imara group] in February 2003, as the director in charge of Wealth Management. In 2004, I was asked to head and launch Imara Asset Management SA [Pty] Ltd and appointed Managing Director and later CEO, a position I held until end April 2016.
