I work closely with clients to design quality acoustical environments, primarily focused on architectural acoustics and noise control.I meet with clients to understand their concerns and objectives. I travel to project sites to collect measurement data and observations. I develop design criteria for the project at hand, considering room acoustics, sound isolation, mechanical noise/vibration control, and environmental sound.I review plans, drawings, and existing sites and buildings. I conduct acoustical analysis and coordinate with clients to design and develop spaces, layouts, constructions, finishes, and noise/vibration mitigation measures, while carefully balancing the impacts on project goals and costs.I manage and lead projects, including our internal efforts to continuously improve tools and processes.I also work with our business development team to create and refine new business proposals.

I design, develop and tune premium branded audio system solutions. I’m a customer-facing Tier 1 systems engineer responsible for production system development, and I also regularly enjoy participating in new business pursuit activities. I’ve developed and fine-tuned high-performance demo systems that ultimately led to new business award with new OEM customers; I’ve taken these proposals from concept to production. Working closely with sales and marketing teams, I manage relationships with premium brand partners and collaborate with them to create and maintain quality brand sound signatures in the car.I am a trained critical listener with golden ears capability in an automotive acoustic environment. I participate in the regular subjective and objective benchmarking of competitive vehicle systems and I have a deep understanding of the current state of the premium audio market. I’m continually developing my expertise in automotive audio and acoustics, with working knowledge of transducer design, amplifier design, DSP tools and techniques, noise and vibration, ANC systems, and the latest vehicle system architectures. Additionally, I designed and specified the acoustic treatment solutions for a new critical listening room that is regularly used as a reference for our team and also a demonstration space for customers. I’m a music-lover, musician, and recording enthusiast.

I work with core program teams and the OEMs to develop exhaust systems that satisfy acoustic and backpressure requirements. I guide exhaust system and silencer design based off of GT-Power simulation, test results, an understanding of acoustic principles, lessons learned, and design best practices. I build prototype components and test them on vehicles to validate the designs for objective and subjective NVH performance.
