Job objectives and responsibilities:• Support and deliver ADHOC Infrastructure & Construction Small Works requests on the Contracts in Central England and Wales.• Provide an effective and efficient service to the customer, ensuring that works/repairs are completed efficiently, on time and within service requirements. • Manage construction activity on-site, liaising with the client, sub contractors and other tradesmen, co-ordinating all aspects of the works so that the ADHOC requests are completed in line with the requirements, within budget and on time. • Managing direct and subcontractor workforce. • Provide detailed costing estimates, advising and implementing cost savings at all times. • Ensure safety to site visitors and staff on site at all times, ensuring that preventative measures are taken, including personal protection, following safety instructions and following all aspects of the health and safety proposal for the site. Main duties • Overseeing all aspects of the work, to include; controlling quality of work; ensuring method statement / Risk Assessments, order fulfilment, cleanliness & tidiness; the use of plant and tools, waste reduction; upkeep of plant and facilities; use of personal protection equipment/wear are in place. • Ensure that all works carried out are undertaken within current codes of practice and that works are completed to the required high standard. • Check that all materials used, including those used by sub contractors, are compliant with technical and quality specifications. • Communicate effectively at all times with the client, client’s representative, project architect, project engineer, local authorities and all persons affected by the project. • Knowledge and understanding of the CDM regulation.

I'm working on various contracts within the Midlands area, working with a team of direct engineers with a variety of skill bases, and specialist sub-contractors to deliver planned maintenance, project works and mobile reactive support across multiple sites & contracts in accordance with KPI/SLA’s set by both Mitie and the clientsMy role includes;• Day to day management of the service delivery teams & scheduling their works • Attending site & client meetings• Dissemination of health & safety information in the form of tool box talks & safety bulletins• Surveying & quoting project works• Carrying out compliance & safety audits• Obtaining costs from sub-contractors for delivery of specialist services & scheduling• Mobilising new and existing contract renewals
