I am a combat veteran Army officer with experience in commercial and residential construction, field and executive project management, and government contracting. For the last 15 years, I have founded, managed and led residential remodeling and custom building companies, I was directly responsible for all aspects of the projects including procurement, budgeting, purchasing, plan development and design, coordination of field personnel, customer relations and sales, quality control, and post-closing operations. This experience will allow me to seamlessly transition into the role of Director of Construction. I am adept at construction site management, general contracting, commercial construction management, real estate investment, production and custom homebuilding, corporate level business operations, and government contracting. My professional certifications include a civil engineering degree, a licensed general contractor and home inspector, and a certified HUD consultant. I have extensive background in technical drawing interpretation, plan design, and cost benefit analysis in both civilian and government contracting environments. I also have more than 15 years of experience in contract and project analysis to determine feasibility and viability of projects within fixed budget, specification, and schedule constraints. I am a natural leader that believes in the team forward philosophy of leadership. I approach challenges and opportunities with analytical and outside of the box thinking and a no fail mentality. My core belief is that determination, communication, teamwork, and integrity will always lead to success, and I apply those values to everything I do.
