I've always had an interest in computers and electronics.At Nautics Group (a global surveillance electronics company serving the law enforcement community), I performed the following:- Managed the Engineering department for over 2 years, which covered hardware, firmware, software and mechanical engineers. - Lead the software and firmware part of the Engineering department for over 6 years.- Developed many computer programs for configuration, command/control and data analysis of remote electronics over USB, RS232, IP and SMS, mostly using the C++ language and MFC.- Maintained and enhanced a handful of C# applications, including a player for a custom non-periodic video/audio data- Created many small Python scripts for testing and simulation of hardware and software.- Created Installers with InstallShield, Wise Installation System and VS's package and deployment tool- Created and assisted with embedded C/C++ linux programs- Created and maintained microcontroller C code for MSP430 microcontrollers.As iCOMMs (now CorEarth), I:- Created a C++ DLL for fast radiation calculations, designed to be called from a Visual Basic 6.0 application- Created Visual Basic test applications- Developed a solution using a rules engine for the online managing of communication site functions.
