Over 26 years of manufacturing related experiences within Engineering, Cost Accounting, and Information Technology departments. I have been afforded many opportunities over my career to learn new things and new skills. I have been a functional lead for my company's ERP implementations and upgrades within JDE Edwards Enterprise One. In my 15 years as a functional manager, my leadership and management skills gave me more control to affect change and improve processes for the betterment of my team. This is when I realized my career passion was in process improvement within IT. For the last 5 years, I have been a Lean Facilitator leading teams through 30+ events to improve business processes using Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and other Lean Tools and Princicples. I have learned the essentials for being a project manager based on PMBOK, and I have been practicing to become a better project manager and IT Business Analyst driving greater value for my organization.
