• Innovatia contract with Genband. Genband is outsourcing some Software Migration Services & Support function to Innovatia. Executing same job function as below when at Nortel.

• Perform remote software upgrades of a complex multi-product element network in live customer networks utilizing various operating systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows and Java).• Analyze logs and alarms on network management systems before, during and after each element is upgraded to ensure no disruption is encountered. • Perform system regression testing after each element upgrade to ensure network functionality.• Applied network troubleshooting techniques (logs, Wireshark, Protocol traces, etc) to isolate faults and collect debug information to include in trouble tickets (Clarify) to document issues.• Work closely with customer and Global support teams (ER, GNPS) to address any issues during the upgrade.• Worked with customers to schedule maintenance activities during the maintenance windows.• Record results, issues and time in Task Manager tracking system.

Customer facing site prime for major RBOCs, CLECS and Cable Providers during the First Network Soak (FNS) cycle. Responsible for validating the introduction of new products into existing customer networks.• On site Team lead during FNS Cycle.• Prime for Software and Feature Implementation as well as Feature Verification in Customer Network.• First line support for customer Nodal and Network issues requiring data collection and data analysis.• Reviewed and selected new features and functionality from the Plan of Record to be implemented in customer network.• While performing hands on testing within System Verification, requirements were analyzed to develop Test Plans / Site Specific Customer Acceptance Test Plans in Mercury Quality Center.• Test Execution in customer environments included End to End Release software upgrades, new product installation, node/network configuration / integration, and interoperability with 3rd party products not available during in house testing. • Analyzed test results to verify existing functionality and integration of new functionality.• Applied network troubleshooting techniques (logs, Wireshark, Protocol traces, etc) to isolate faults and collect debug information to include in trouble tickets (Clarify) to document issues.• Provisioned head end management systems that populated SQL and Oracle databases storing node configuration data, Security certificates, and Network Logs, Alarm and events. This required hands on configuration of web applications. • Monitored the network pre and post upgrade collecting Key Performance Indicators (KPI), debug logs and messaging for analysis to help resolve technical issues or confirm the system was running as designed. • Modified Expect/Perl scripts to enable KPI collection to run in the background on various sites and various SW releases.

Responsible for developing and validating installation & test procedures for the FETEX-150 Broadband Switch. This included growth, conversion and generic upgrades. This position required lab validation as well as on-site FOA/VO support. Also support for field engineers and customers.
