I am a passionate advocate for the benefits of outdoor learning, and believe that they should be accessible to all. An outdoor learning specialist for 30 years, both as a qualified teacher and practitioner and in multiple senior leadership roles, I recently completed a PhD at the University of Cumbria looking into the application of ecosystem approaches that promote and support more equitable access to outdoor learning opportunities. I work with schools and organisations to achieve this through consultancy, training, research and resource development.
