As the AVP for Administrative Systems I was responsible for current ERP systems and their support. I am also served as the Enablement Director and IT Business Advocate for our Enterprise Project, responsible for our BI , Analytics and Reporting, Conversion, Integration and Security, as well as the design of operational functions as we moved toward production. In that project we were implementing Workday, eBuilder, all new cloud BI and DW solutions, and some custom solutions in support of significant business transformation in our HR, Payroll, Finance and Student administration functions across the University and including the Wexner Medical Center.

Responsible for two critical lines of business within the OCIO: Enterprise Applications that support administrative business processes across the university . The systems supported by these teams include the PeopleSoft Finance, HR and Student Systems, and the enterprise web and mobile applications, eReports, and eRequest, Curriculum and eTime and eLeave Systems. The team includes seven direct reports and over 90 staff.

Partnered with business executives to create of strategic , 5 year application roadmaps across all Enterprise Application areas aligned business strategic plans. Drove business case creation and approval and project initiation of critical projects. Led creation of Integration Architecture, directed early adoption of SOA concepts and practices.

Led team of technology and business professionals in strategic projects, maintenance and support for the Financial Systems at Ohio State. Successfully led a $30M project to upgrade, combine two PeopleSoft finance instances and implement the Grants set of modules. Provided leadership on technical issues, development processes and talent development. Implemented cloud eProcurement solution for the University, producing significant purchasing savings, leading both business and technical professionals and processes.

Led technical development and business process redesign of Procure to Pay processes and technologies on one of the earliest and largest Higher Education PeopleSoft installations to date. Led innovative workflow development and rollout, partnering with executives and college leaders to cut processing time and expense for core procurement processes. Led smooth transition to production, eventually leading all of the Finance applications as the GL and associated projects completed in 2000.
