I am a semi retired engineering supervisor with many years of experience in the US and Canadian nuclear power generation industry. I currently work as a Senior Principal License Renewal Engineer with ENERCON Services Inc. in various capacities to support the extension of operating licenses for U.S. based nuclear power generation plants. Recent contributions include the Clinton, Dresden, and Diablo Canyon nuclear power facilities. Currently I am working on the effort to extend the Palisades nuclear plant license as part of the many activities that are ongoing to restart this plant to provide clean energy to Michigan.

I supervised mechanical engineers in the Balance of Plant section and electrical engineers in the Electrical and Instrumentation & Control section. I provided strong leadership and oversight to staff owning a broad range of responsibilities related to system and component health and performance monitoring. I also supervised mechanical and civil design engineers during this period to produce design engineering products, including installation, and post-installation testing activities.
