I am an experienced national and international business lawyer. My experience includes major multi-country reorganizations, planning and implementation of major construction projects including grain gathering and cleaning plants, infrastructure, roads, other land development and business plans in addition to a number of business/legal consulting projects to private and public sector clients. Sectors of expertise include finance, oil & gas servicing, construction, transportation, environmental, health & safety, competition and policy and legislative development.I provide strategic advice in regard to the identification, development and management of business opportunities. I also work in land development, transaction negotiation, commercial financings and the purchase and sale of businesses. I have managed the business and legal aspects of a number of significant agribusiness development projects and have assisted with the organization of a human resources department for a national employer. I have also managed significant projects for Provincial and Territorial governments in the area of legislative review, planning and development.I have acted in the role of general counsel to assist clients with the organization and structure of their businesses. I have conducted a number of in-house seminars on topics such as negotiating financing and the structuring of joint ventures.I have also acted as a consultant on economic planning and fiscal matters.
