Presently I am in the role of Department Manager - Reactor Maintenance for Bruce Power. This Department is responsible for three maintenance sections, Reactor Maintenance Mechanical, Reactor Maintenance Boilers and Peak Resourcing. The reactor maintenance mechanical section is responsible for reactor fuel channel repairs such as grayloc refurbishments, end fitting repairs, fuel channel repositioning and feeder repairs. This section is also responsible for Shutdown System(SDS) support work such as Cobalt harvests, flux detectors, shutters and ion chamber work.The boiler section is responsible to perform all maintenance on our steam generators and HX's including open/close, divider plate repairs, secondary containment seal installation, waterlance support as well as all boiler secondary side work.The Peak Resourcing section is responsible to obtain supplemental workers during our peak demands. This groups interfaces with both Maintenance Managers and Trade Halls in order to ensure Bruce Power obtains adequate supplemental resources for our peaking needs as well as backfill requirements.

I started my career in Nuclear as a Shift Mechanical Maintainer working on all plant equipment as well as emergency power, both diesel and jet. Maintained both ASME and CWB welding certificates, Worked at Bruce, Pickering and Darlington as well as at the Bruce Heavy Water Plant and the Central Maintenance Facility (now CMLF).
