My extensive global experience in event management, sports (particularly Beach Volleyball) and the outdoors together with a strong interest in encouraging and facilitating people to live healthy active lifestyles, has led me to head up Beached Az Events, a company with a strong ethical philosophy which aims to deliver unique events with the vision of inspiring people to make a positive and healthy change in their lives.My practical, hands on approach with high levels of initiative, ingenuity and attention to detail allows me to excel at multi tasking and problem solving under pressure. After moving to the UK, Dave became Tournament Director and then Tour Director of the English National Tour. Working on bigger events followed with the Junior World Championships, World Tour, Commonwealth Games, Senior World Championships, German Championships, Swedish Championships, European Championships and King of the Court. And most recently Dave created and managed a new National Tour in New Zealand which was hugely successful.

    Winter Ski Season - Responsibility for the chalet, guests and staff team- Management of the daily operation of the chalet to ensure it is kept well functioning, well equipped, clean, organised and welcoming.- Management of the staff team including regular progress reviews and supervisions and ensuring they are well supported and taken care of.- Management of all aspects of the guests experience from arrival to departure including transfers, ski hire, lift passes, lessons, skiing routes and other mountain activities, rooming, meals, childcare, evening entertainment, troubleshooting and any specific needs guests may have. Outside of Season- Maintenance and improvements across 4 chalets - Developed and implemented clear management and operational systems for future seasons- Designed and planned major chalet refurbishments and modifications with the French chalet owners.- Managed refurbishments and modifications to ensure the company’s needs were best met in the improvements undertaken.- Supported the summer staff team in delivering exceptional holidays over the 2 month summer season including driving, maintenance, managerial support, health and safety, cooking weekly BBQs, providing weekly campfires.Business Development- Visit and assess both resorts looking at all aspects of the business and advising on areas of improvement, efficiency gains, and ideas for new markets and new products along with streamlining operational procedures across all resorts and head office.
