I have been a case manager with criminal justice system and behavioral health clients. I have worked as a Criminal Justice Specialist with the Regional Behavioral Health Authority. I facilitated the development of jail diversion programs for the Seriously Mentally Ill. I have worked to successfully implement a Drug Court and Mental Health Court. Increase literacy. Grow poetry. Mentor. I am a published poet and article writer. Areas of literary writing and publication include cretive non-fiction, I will write articles for publication if contracted with. I have worked in educational settings with some class room presentations for elementery and middle school age students. I have conducted free flowing poetry workshops in the community. My creative skills include performing in original poetry/spoken word productions, and some community and street theater presentations. I have co-produced and been a featured guest numerous times in a community radio program feturing the spoken word.I have been a labor union organizer, union activist and union president. Professionally, I am employed by the Pima County Public Defender's office, working as a Capital Case Mitigation Specialist
