For the past decade, Dave has worked with Corby Spirit and Wine | Pernod Ricard, who own some of the oldest and most iconic brands of Canadian whisky around; J.P. Wiser’s, Lot No.40, Gooderham & Worts, and Pike Creek. He has been leading the charge globally, as Head of Education and Advocacy of the brands for over ten years and has had the pleasure of enlightening bartenders, spirit writers, and whisky aficionados around the world, that Canadian whisky is one of the foremost and innovative whisky categories, along with its place in cocktail history and where it is today on a global scale. Dave has always had a great devotion for community and security amongst bartenders. He is a big believer in training and providing staff with the knowledge and tools they need when it comes to making great drinks and creating equity in the beverage industry through resources and programming that better the lives of hospitality professionals. He knows that it’s the stories from the people who work in the front lines that carry the greatest weight and have the greatest impact when it comes to change in the industry. It goes without saying that Dave has a great passion for traveling the world seeking out cocktail adventures, exploring new places and meeting the intriguing people who are behind them.
