Having been involved with computers since an early age and with a strong interest in software, I started with BASIC and assembly language, and now working with Microsoft .Net and Azure cloud. Along the way I’ve gained strong experience with SQL databases and understanding other aspects necessary for successful IT systems including DNS, firewalls, SSL configuration and load balancing.In my career spanning over 20 years, I’ve built and worked on call centre applications, product comparison tools, support systems, database tools, accounting software, document storage solutions, supply chain integrations, customer portals and many other software solutions. Each has presented its own challenges in which I’ve found satisfaction in overcoming. I’ve been involved in ever complex pieces of work, managing multiple teams and leading them to deliver concurrent projects and programmes to meet the regulatory, commercial and security needs for a competitive business.
